Pantone 2013 Spring Color Report
Before you start your spring fling, whether it be malling, thrifting or anything in between, I encourage you to start by shopping your closet! I'm always surprised what I find lurking in the back of mine ;) This season black and white is going to be huge, I'm a fan. I bet you have tons of black and white bits and bobs, as my British friend Kate would say. Pairing any of the new color combos below with black or white works well and if you are a stripe lover like me, breathe a sigh of relief because they are still hot, small stripes, big stripes, railroad ticking, etc. Some odd Japanese inspired shapes are showing up as are cut outs in unusual places covered in netting which is also used as inserts on skirts. Are you ready for knee high gladiator sandals? I have to say I'm not a fan but that's what make the fashion world go round. And I'm definitely not ready to give up last years Tangerine Tango (which was a brighter shade of this years Nectarine) but as a red head I will definitely make room for Pantones color of 2013, Emerald! So before you hit the racks decide which colors you'd like to add to your existing wardrobe to bring it from winter drabulous to spring fabulous.
